Beginning September 14, during Wednesday night dinner and Bible study, our SVC Children’s Choir will gather for 10 weeks in musical fellowship by learning songs to sing during worship and with the adult choir. The choir semester will conclude with the children singing in the Wednesday night Thanksgiving Service on November 16. The children will have a few additional practices as they prepare for A Stephens Valley Christmas with the adult choir on December 10 & 11. The SVC Children’s Choir is open to any child who would like to sing, so please invite friends and neighbors to join us.

 

Leading the Children’s Choir will be SVC Adult Choir soloist Erica Guenther.  Kristen Bachmann and David German will assist her as needed.

 

Our tentative practice schedule is below, although there may be a few additional rehearsals:

 

4 year olds–2nd Graders: Dinner with parents from 5:15–6:00 pm

                                       Children in the choir room from 6:00–6:30 pm

 

            3rd–6th Graders: Children in the choir room from 5:15–6:00 pm

                                       Supervised eating dinner in the café from 6:00–6:30 pm 

 

To register your child for the SVC Children’s Choir, please complete the registration form and return it to the church as soon as possible. The form is accessible below and there are also printed copies available outside of the Fellowship Hall.
