King serves Stephen’s Valley Church as minister of Pastoral Care and Counseling joining the staff in late 2022.  He grew up inn Bristol, Tennessee and graduated from Graham Bible College majoring in Bible and Christian Education.  Later, he attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi (M.Div., M.A., and D.Min.).  He has served as a pastor in several churches in Virginia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.  In addition, he has served as a full-time licensed marriage and family therapist working with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and nationalities and continue to maintain a small private practice.  He and his wife Angela have three children and eleven grandchildren.  In his  free time, King enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
